Lovely soaps

We've been so happy with all of the other Nova Scotia Fisherman products we've used, we decided to give this particular soap a try for my husband, who tends to have very dry, easily irritated skin. It has worked wonderfully well for him, and we would definitely recommend it. If you're an older individual dealing with dry skin, or someone with sensitivities, it's definitely worth a try.

Love your bar soaps, been using it for the past 2 years now and love it. My skin feels so soft and not dry anymore. Will never go back back to body wash.

My husband will only use soap from Nova Scotia Fisherman. I have tried everything on the market and after 25 years of marriage have finally found the perfect soap for him. He outright refuses to use anything else so needless to say I can never run out of it ;)

I’ve recent brought a bar of soap from this shop to see of it goes and it was amazing!, it both smelled and felt amazing on my skin and what’s even more amazing is that all natural! I’m definitely buying more in the near future

My husband is on dialysis which causes him to be very itchy. He tried numerous products, including prescription, with not much relief. He used your Rescue Balm Soap and the itching got better. After using this soap on a regular basis, he doesn't itch as bad as he did before and when he does get itchy he rubs on some Rescue Balm cream. I don't know what is in it but it sure takes his itch away! Thank you Nova Scotia Fisherman for an awesome product.

The Rescue Balm Soap is wonderful on my sensitive, mature, dry skin. I use it all over including my face. Skin is left clean, smells clean, no residue, and never dried out. Such a comfortable soap to use on my skin. This has got to be the best soap ever. The truly natural, clean ingredients make all the difference. The bar will last quite awhile.

I'm usually sensitive to soaps and fragrances. Not the Rescue Balm though. I use it on my face daily. It lathers well, smells really good and makes my skin squeaky clean without stripping my skin. The bar is a generous size and the price is great!

I will never buy another kind of soap for the rest of my life!

I have allergies to commercial skin product ingredients, and sensitivity to sensory stimulation from ADHD/autism.

I have tried everything to find a skin care line that doesn't make me itch or break out AND has a scent I can live with in my nostrils all the time. It was a nightmare of wasted money, sensory overload, irritated skin, and frustration.

Until I tried Rescue Balm soap!

Now I buy 8 bars at a time. I use it as hand soap, body soap, and shampoo. My husband and I have also become loyal fans of Rescue Balm in the tin, and Deck Hands products. The scents are very specifically soothing to me, and I just love them.

I received my first bar of Rescue Balm soap in a kit given to me as a birthday gift some time ago, and I loved it from the moment I tried it for the first time. It is the best cleansing product ever, soothing and gentle, anti-inflammatory and softens my skin beautifully. It smells absolutely wonderful too. I have not used anything else since, except for an occasional bar of the Sea Buckthorn and Lavender, also a lovely cleansing product.

It is worthwhile noting that this soap and the corresponding moisturizer were the only products I was able to tolerate during chemotherapy. They were kind to my skin, luxuriously softening, healing, comforting and never irritating, not even once.

The product is amazing, and it is created right here in Canada. Bravo!

I ordered this bar from Healthy Planet and was amazed how effective this bar is for itchy / dry skin. As Nova Scotia Fisherman items were on sale, placed another order and bought assorted bars.

I have used all sorts of natural soap and nothing works like this particular bar. The scent is very light and has a bit more creaminess than the other bars from Nova Scotia Fisherman.

This bar stands out on its own against their other bars. If you suffer from eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis or just extremely delicate and sensitive skin only get this bar.

Pair it with their original lotion and you’ll see a complete difference after just one use!
It does cost a bit more but after you see how silky it leaves your skin you’ll understand.

Finally found relief!

This product is amazing for healing cuts and broken skin on your hands. Great for healing hard working hands!

After trying every natural soap bar I could find locally we were fortunate to receive this gem in an order placed for the balm. It resolved my daughter’s pain of using commercial hand washing solution at work. When others there used it, we gladly shared! Time to restock! Simply amazing and so Canadian!
