Lip Balm Chubbie - Original

I just tried this since I have their strawberry lip balm from our trip out east last year and I liked that one too! This is so great that you don’t have to keep reapplying it all the time. And there’s no gross taste after like there are with other lip balms that have too much fake flavour. I love all the stuff from Nova Scotia Fisherman!!

For a good several years or so, I've had trouble with my lips, always constantly dry and peeling. Yeah sure! I've tried MANY brands, most of which I can't even bother to try and remember now. I only started using N.S. Fisherman's in December of last year, and I've had MILES better of an experience with it!!!!!! Like seriously!!!!! Another huge issue I've had with other lip balms, aside from feeling I needed to apply them WAY too often, was the smell and taste (if it ever got in my mouth). Most lip balms I've used have always felt somewhat suffocating, especially in terms of taste, think of when you have over-whipped frosting, and you feel like it's coating your throat. The smell of most lip balms I've used has a similar problem, always something in the back that bugs my nose to the point where I can't seem to breathe!!! This lipbalm has been the exact opposite, and I also prefer the packaging of this lipbalm to the regular twist. I swear by this lip balm!!!!!!!!!!

I found Nova Scotia Fishman a number of years ago. Their lip balms are my absolute favorite. I love the shorter wider tube. Nothing beats this for your winter dry lips.

My local garden store sells these lipbalms and after I tried fishermint I've never used any other lip balm. I hate anything that isn't mint and this lipbalm is just so refreshing and buttery and is the only thing that actually hydrates my lips when it's dry!! It lasts a super long time too!! (Also if my nostrils feel dry I put a bit under my nose and it helps so much, highly recommend)

I am very sensitive to some lip products but this one is fantastic. Not 1 issue and I love the tube and taste.

I have never found a lip balm that helps my chapped lips! I always have such dry lips, especially in winter, and I honestly can't believe how good this product works. I use it in the morning after my skin care routine and in the evening before bed and my lips have never felt softer and been so smooth! I hope you never stop making this because this is the only lip balm I will ever buy!

It is alittle hard but softens with the heat of your lips. Works well in Northern Ontario climate.

Wow! Discovered this lip balm many years ago when I visited Nova Scotia for the first time and our Airbnb host left us a little gift, such as this lip balm. I live in Québec where the Winter is harsh and cold, and this is the only balm that I use. My lips are NEVER dry or chapped. I could not recommend this product more, I am so happy to have discovered it!! Please never stop making it.

Long time user, by far the most amazing lip balm available anywhere.

I live in a cold northern climate. This lip balm is my saving grace, it doesn’t contain sweeteners, which I tend to lick off, thusly making my lips more chapped in the dry climate. This product, I apply at night get and in the morning and I never have chapped lips. I have used it for at least ten years and I’ve never been disappointed.

I've been using this lip balm exclusively for probably 7 years now - I've never found another lip balm that works so well & without eventually causing dry lips. I typically only have to use once at night in order to keep my lips in perfect health. I am so attached to this balm, when I moved a few years ago I stocked up because I was worried I wouldn't be able to find it in my new city & I wouldn't be able to live without it!

Better than any lip balm I have used and I have extremely dry skin. Keeps lips moist for hours on end. Excellent product. Highly recommend.

I have had the worst chapped lips this Winter. It got to the point where they were cracked and bleeding and I was desperate to find something to help. After trying at least 5 other products, I purchased this on a Friday evening. By Saturday morning, my lips were noticeably better and by Monday, they were almost entirely healed. I can't recommend this product enough!

I've been through all of the lip balms, and myself experience eczema around the lips. I decided to try this sea kelp lip balm and I'm in truly love with the moisture it provides, the scent is beautiful and full of goodness (herbs, oils..) very happy with my purchase! the lip balm container is so tiny I will probably end up losing it, disappointed with the tube that you have to push up from the bottom and no way to push back down. The lip balm gets on the inside of the cap when I put the cap on, Printing on the label is so tiny I cannot even read it ingredients.

I do like the feel and it does stay on a long time, probably will not buy again due to packaging.

I decided to get some new skincare as my skin is pretty sensitive and has really been drying lately with other products. I got this lip balm in with my order today and I've been picking it up all day and using it. I initially looked at the color opening it thinking I was not going to like it, but I love the smell of it. It's not something that's going to feel overpowering in the smell and it just leaves your lips feeling soft. Will definitely be buying on repeat.

After using this lip balm, the sun is shining, my crops are flourishing, my depression is gone, my father finally came back from the grocery store, and the forces of yin and yang have returned to balance after years of disorder. I've been using this lip balm for years and have periodically switched back to both drugstore and luxury designer lip balms when I run out of this one. Man. NOTHING can replace this outdated looking paper packaged stick. It feels great, it moisturises and is occlusive, and you'll never have to dread it drying out and abandoning you because it dries to a protective film THAT ALSO FEELS GREAT. If you have perpetually dry lips, REJOICE! You will have to deal with the weird kelp smell that's present in all the lip balms but it's a small price to pay for all the advantages. For that reason, I recommend the scented lip balms over the original because at least they have a cool smell accompanying the weird kelp smell.

I’ve tried them all. This is the only balm that prevents my lips from chapping and drying all winter long here in northeast Ohio. Please keep making this amazing formula!

I love this one, neutral scent and really good formulation.

The container is tricky since you can't move the balm back down, it makes a mess BUT the formula is amazing!

I tried more than 100 brands in my life and this is only lip balm works for my lip. I live in really dry and cold climate.
Pro:
- very hydrated,only need to apply once or twice/day
-kid friendly too
- scent is a bit strange but tolerable, better than other artificial scent that other brands use
Cons:
-can't to find in store, have to buy online.
-packaging is terrible.Both the original and chubby tube are hard to open. Especially if you stop at red light and decide to use lip balm, it's impossible! I always have to repack it in my own tube find on Amazon.
If you do care about environment,please put your lip balm in paper tubes or sell it package free for customer to put it in whatever container they like.

I purchased this form of the lip blam when they were out of the regular sticks I usually buy. The formula is quite different. It's less of a wax and stiffer. It doesn't coat the lips as well and has far less of a beneficial effect. I love the regular sticks, but this isn't something I will ever buy again

My lips are ruthless when it comes to dryness and cracking, most products on the market do not work for me. This is the fjrst product ive tried that instantly makes my lips feel better and actually heals them. I hope this never goes off the market, it is a life saver. So worth the price, it lasts quite awhile.
