Nova Scotia Fisherman- put to the extreme test!
We sent along some products with the team heading to Northern Russia to give them the ultimate test.
About the project:
Their project was aimed at producing unique aerial video, photographic and written content, as we are travelling with three to four camera drones in addition to regular photography and videography gear. Kamchatka is one of the most visually stunning regions of Siberia, peppered with volcanoes, remote villages and an abundance of wildlife. In partnership with the Bystrinsky National Park, we are going out into the central parts of the Peninsula to spend time living with ethnic Even reindeer herders, only accessible by a full-day ride by snowmobile or dog sled. In short, the project is full of adventure, stunning vistas and immersive cultural experience, and we are using these experiences and exposure to produce high quality video, photographic and written content in both English and Chinese.
They did not shower during 10 days, they washed themselves with snow and our mini soaps, and they said that "the lip balm saved them from a lot of pain and trouble in the middle of freezing wilderness'.
We sent them enough products to be share with a group of 32 Harvard students in Korea that the guys were travelling with and they all were extremely surprised how well the products worked for them!
