A note from our soap maker...

Dear Diary, September 6th 2011...

Just started working at the BOSI factory on 15 Jones Rd in New Minas. I will be their new soap maker. I'm a bit nervous but was told " if you can bake, you can make". My basic Training began with 4 pots and a two burner stove and oil everywhere.

Measuring oils is the easy part, maintaining proper temperature well...that's a different story...then there's leveling off the top..I'll get the hang of it, I hope.

Dear Diary, September 10th 2011...

Sorry I haven't been around lately but I've been elbow deep in oils. I'm having a blast. Some of the soaps look good enough to eat.. but I wouldn't try it.

October 04, 2018

As more and more publications on the negative impacts from liquid, chemical, anti-bacterial soaps appear, those in search of chemical-free, healthy skincare are moving towards more natural soaps.
